You are automatically enrolled in the system when you register for classes. Staff and Faculty members are also automatically enrolled.
If you want to receive text messaging notifications you will need to log in to enter or verify your cell phone number and provider. Otherwise, you will be notified of emergency situations only via ºìÌÒÊÓƵ email. Note that your cellular phone provider may charge a per-text message cost for the delivery of emergency notifications to your phone.

The University only plans to send notifications via the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Alert system for events that impact the majority of the campus, such as school closures or emergencies. At least once a semester, the University will send a test notification to verify the functionality of the system.
